In collaboration with the project theme of ‘Posthumanism,’
‘Tuberosum’ begins with a contradiction: a material that is both alive and processed, organic and technological, stable yet constantly in flux.
about
Kiky Siwadnidhikul is a multimedia artist working across illustration, installation, sculpture, and sound. Her practice often begins with drawing and expands into immersive, three-dimensional environments that invite play, curiosity, and sensory engagement. Shaped by her upbringing in Thailand and her Fine Art studies in the UK, her work blends childhood memory, cultural identity, and pop-influenced imagery to explore how identity evolves overtime. Combining tactile materials, sound, and large-scale forms, she creates imagined worlds that balance childlike wonder with questions about existence, technology, and the future. Through her recurring sci-fi character Ky, Siwadnidhikul explores speculative ideas in a light-hearted, accessible way—encouraging audiences to step inside, explore, and reconnect with imagination.
